AcreFinder ("we", "us") operates a US vacant-land search engine. Buyers search listings for free. Sellers ("publishers") post listings and pay only when a verified buyer asks to be connected to one of their listings — a "lead". There are no posting fees or subscriptions.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the listings you post and for having the right to sell the land described. You must keep a valid payment method on file to publish live listings. You may unpublish or delete your listings and account at any time.
When a verified buyer requests contact on your listing, we charge the lead fee then in effect for your account to your saved payment method. The default lead fee is $25 unless a different rate is set for your account. You are charged once per unique buyer per listing — repeat requests from the same buyer are not billed again. Lead fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion (e.g. clearly fraudulent leads).
You retain ownership of the photos and descriptions you upload and grant us a license to display them on AcreFinder. Do not post unlawful, misleading, or infringing content.
AcreFinder is provided "as is". We are a listing and introduction service; we are not a party to any land transaction and do not guarantee any sale, lead quality, or outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes affecting billing will be communicated to publishers.
